Cornish Creek Water Treatment Plant returned to normal operations today.
The uncommonly cold weather impacted water treatment chemistry and a pump malfunctioned Monday resulting in low pressure for some areas of the County.
Newton County Water Resources plant operators successfully resolved the situation, and the plant is experiencing normal operations.
